Mythology

 Crete was the home for baby zeus when he was taken there by Mother Earth. When he was taken ther he was cared for by a fairy goat named Amalthea.  Amalthea had hornes that produced necter and food for Zeus.

 Zeus lived in a cave and the fairy goat was killed when Zeus was grown up and made into a chestplate for Zeus.

While Cronus had his brothers in his stomach Zeus was gaining power and was now powerful enough to defeat Cronus.

The Climate of Crete was 80-90 degrees and occasionally rained. Crete was a island in the sea and had sandy beaches. Crete had mountains that were about 200ft high. Crete was a mile long islan that Zeus grew up on. Zeus lived in the middle of the island and also explored some.
